The Gateway to Vermont
The Fair Haven Aera Chamber of Commerce has been in business since May 8, 1961. It is a private, non-profit business association with 50 members representing a variety of businesses within our area.
Our mission is to create and preserve an economic climate conducive to business growth. Improving the economic well-being of Vermonters, within our area, and the business community remains a vital misson of the Fair Haven Area Chamber of Commerce.
In safeguarding such an ongoing task, the Chamber will continually work to create and support iniatives that encourage strong economic development programs, sound fiscal policies, to increase tourism within our area, advocate sensible environmental regualtions, and to attract new businesses to our area, all of which bolster a healthy business climate.
Among our many activities, the Chamber works to increase the effectiveness of both local and state government, as well as, to improve the relationship between government and the business community.
Requirements for being a member include dues of thirty dollars annually, attend the meetings which are usually held the 2nd Tuesday of the month at Carvey's Restaurant in Fair Haven. Elections and the new fiscal year begin May 1st. Positions are voluntary and uncompensated.

There are several social mixers and events throughout the year, giving you the opportunity to meet other business owners and chamber members, discuss ideas for generating profit and have a good time as well.
